Honeywell Gas Detectors

Honeywell's gas detection range brings together two well-known product families: BW personal and 4-gas monitors and RAE photoionisation (PID), single gas and multigas monitors. We supply both families and our engineers are trained to service and calibrate them.

Honeywell BW personal and 4-gas monitors

  • BW Clip: maintenance-free single gas detector for H2S, CO, O2 or SO2. BW Clip

  • BW Solo: serviceable single gas monitor with a wide sensor choice. BW Solo

  • BW Clip4: maintenance-free 4-gas monitor. BW Clip4

  • GasAlert MicroClip XL and X3: compact 4-gas monitors. MicroClip XL, MicroClip X3

  • GasAlert Max XT II: pumped 4-gas monitor for confined space pre-entry testing. Max XT II

  • GasAlert Quattro, BW Icon and BW Flex: 4-gas monitors for everyday personal protection. Quattro, BW Icon, BW Flex

  • GasAlert Micro5 and BW Ultra: multigas monitors when you need more than four sensors. Micro5, BW Ultra

  • BW RigRat: transportable area monitor for perimeters and shutdowns. BW RigRat

Honeywell RAE PID and multigas monitors

  • MiniRAE 3000+ and MiniRAE Lite+: handheld PIDs for total VOCs. MiniRAE 3000+

  • ppbRAE 3000+: PID for VOCs at parts-per-billion levels. ppbRAE 3000+

  • UltraRAE 3000+: benzene-specific PID using separation tubes. UltraRAE 3000+

  • ToxiRAE Pro: personal monitors for a toxic gas, combustible gas or VOCs. ToxiRAE Pro

  • MicroRAE and QRAE3: 4-gas monitors. MicroRAE, QRAE3

  • MultiRAE: multigas monitors that can combine a PID with toxic, LEL and O2 sensors. MultiRAE

Choosing a Honeywell monitor

Choose maintenance-free BW Clip or Clip4 monitors where you want no calibration cost during the monitor's life and only daily bump testing. Choose serviceable monitors such as the BW Solo, Max XT II or MicroRAE where you need a pump, replaceable sensors or a longer working life. For solvents, fuels and benzene, choose a RAE PID; see our PID and VOC monitors and EH40 exposure limits reference.

Honeywell service, calibration and hire

We calibrate, bump test and repair BW and RAE instruments at our standard rates for any brand: single gas monitors £40, 4-gas monitors £50, multigas monitors £90 and PIDs £140 (excl. VAT), each with a traceable certificate. Book on our calibration and service page. For short projects, hire a calibrated PID from £135 a week or a 4-gas monitor from £45 a week. Talk to our engineers on 01489 326031 or email sales@7solutions.co.uk. We supply, hire, calibrate and train across the UK, Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4pm.

Frequently asked questions

Do you supply Honeywell BW and RAE gas detectors?

Yes. We supply Honeywell BW personal and 4-gas monitors and Honeywell RAE PID, single gas and multigas monitors, and our engineers are trained to service both.

How much does Honeywell calibration cost?

The same standard rates as every brand: single gas monitors £40, 4-gas monitors £50, multigas monitors £90 and PIDs £140 (excl. VAT), with a traceable certificate.

Which Honeywell PID measures benzene?

The UltraRAE 3000+ is benzene-specific, using separation tubes to isolate benzene from other VOCs. The MiniRAE 3000+ measures total VOCs and the ppbRAE 3000+ measures at parts-per-billion levels.

What is the difference between the BW Clip and BW Solo?

The BW Clip is a maintenance-free single gas detector that runs for its rated life without calibration or battery changes. The BW Solo is a serviceable single gas monitor with replaceable sensors and batteries that is calibrated during its life.
